Product Overview

ExpertusONE is a next-generation learning management system (LMS) that helps large enterprises train their employees. It combines the latest LMS technology (e.g., social learning and gamification) and content in one easy-to-use platform.

ExpertusONE is built on the following modular design:

  • ExpertusONE Mobile – Students can access any materials at their convenience (courses, videos, etc.), even offline. The mobile content synchronizes with the content on the desktop.
  • ExpertusONE for Salesforce – This module integrates with Salesforce and helps companies train their sales reps.
  • ExpertusONE Insights – The Insights module includes a report query builder and a report design wizard that allows trainers to create custom reports in five clicks or less.
  • ExpertusONE Gamification – The Gamification module is built in and helps foster collaboration and learning with points-based recognition.
  • ExpertusONE Meetings – Unique to the LMS space, this module has a built-in virtual conferencing tool. Students will benefit as they can get face-to-face learning without having to travel.
  • ExpertusONE API – With this module, a client’s developers can expand their LMS in other ways (such as building content). Aside from Salesforce, ExpertusONE can integrate with talent management systems, analytics, SharePoint and other solutions.
  • ExpertusONE Commerce – This module benefits companies that want to train their partners and customers. Similar to online retailers, customers can shop for courses with a shopping cart, use multiple payment methods and take advantage of any discounts or promotions.
  • ExpertusONE Content – The Content module delivers 10-minute “bite-sized” courses in a variety of topics, including compliance, safety, customer service and more.

ExpertusONE Mobile:

  • Available as an app for Apple/Android with user-friendly interface
  • Content accessible offline
  • Ability to access other features/modules anytime, anywhere
  • Presence Sensing feature that automatically captures attendee and completion data for classroom-based instruction, saving reporting work for the instructors
  • Mobile evaluations that can be filled out by students during sessions
  • Social learning feature where students collaborate over materials and subject matter
  • Mobile analytics to help increase compliance rates (managers access information about training progress and take action based on the data, such as contact employees if they haven’t participated)

ExpertusONE for Salesforce:

  • Users can sign into both ExpertusONE and Salesforce with just one password
  • Learner profiles automatically created based on Salesforce/HRIS data
  • Employees can view training records in Salesforce
  • Employees who need training on Salesforce can be automatically enrolled
  • Training activity feed can be seen in Chatter
  • Managers can run analytics on specific Salesforce classes (e.g., completion rates, performance)

  • Built-in reporting tools (no third-party reporting tools needed)
  • Ability to create reports in less than five clicks via report wizard
  • Advanced compliance analytics functionality where managers can access compliance reporting information (also available as a mobile app)

As ExpertusONE is cloud-based, Expertus ensures a quick implementation process. Its implementation process is done in three steps:

  1. Configuration of ExpertusONE to the specific needs of the client
  2. Migration of data and content from older LMS product
  3. Integration of ExpertusONE with client’s existing systems

Clients can use Expertus’ Adoption Toolkit to train their administrators in ExpertusONE. The toolkit consists of classroom, virtual and self-paced learning materials.

Customer Service & Support

Expertus offers its ExpertusONE Premier Support plan that includes a dedicated LMS specialist clients can call for questions or help with ExpertusONE. The specialist is available by phone and email during Expertus’ normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST). Note: Premier Support is offered in specified hourly blocks each month.

For companies that don’t want the Premier Support plan, ExpertusONE has a support/help desk team available 24/7 for support issues.

Expertus was founded by Ramesh Ramani and Mohana Radhakrishnan in 1998 to help companies make corporate learning more fun for employees.

The company has received many awards in 2015 alone, including two Brandon Hall Awards (Silver for Learning Management Compliance Technology and Gold for Best Video Learning), Talented Learning’s Best All-Purpose LMS and a spot on’s 2015 Top 20 Training Outsourcing Companies list for a ninth consecutive year, to name a few.

Expertus’ main headquarters is in Santa Clara, CA, but it also has offices in France and India.
