For the purposes of this review, we’ll focus on Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS.

Knowledge Anywhere’s learning management system (LMS) is a comprehensive training solution for employers to assign and control lesson plans. By tracking workforce skills gaps, employers can identify who would benefit from the system’s lessons, then set employees on custom career paths.

Knowledge Anywhere’s other solutions include Course Builder, where users can create their own original training programs, and Course Development, where users have access to eLearning specialists who design job-specific courses.

Features

These five key features highlight the LMS software’s core functionality:

1. Content Management – Administrators can organize LMS content such as virtual lessons, webinars, instructor-led training and certifications. Content is also accessible from a mobile device. Administrators can add their own SCORM-compliant content as well.

2. Custom Learning Paths – Create lesson hierarchies for users to complete. Identify skills gaps and assign employees to take lessons for their professional growth.

3. Certificate Authentication – Allow employees to take certified lessons. Regulatory requirements can be fulfilled through online courses and then displayed on users’ LinkedIn profiles.

4. Reporting Dashboard – Track metrics on employees to gauge the effectiveness of the training program. Watch real-time metrics or set long-term goals for business planning.

5. Custom Branding and Social – Administrators can add company colors and logos to the solution to reflect their brand. Users can also interact with lesson plans through social media and share their success, making each lesson personalized.

Implementation/Integration

Customer Service & Support

Standard support includes unlimited help through email, while premium support includes unlimited email, as well as unlimited phone support and a dedicated customer success representative.

Knowledge Anywhere provides an online knowledge base for commonly asked questions via the Zendesk. Users can also submit request tickets from the Zendesk.

Pricing

Knowledge Anywhere comes with three pricing options.

  • Express: The Express option costs $799 a month and is available to 500 active users. It also gives organizations the ability to have two system administrators with standard support and unlimited course uploads. It also supports up to 10 GB of storage.
  • Professional: The Professional option is $1,599 a month and covers up to 1,000 active learners and five administrators. It has up to 15 GB of storage. Add-on options include custom URL, localization, integration to other applications and e-commerce functionality.
  • Enterprise: The Enterprise option supports unlimited active users, administrators and storage. Custom interface, custom URL and premium support are included. Please contact Knowledge Anywhere directly for a quote.

Shortcomings

The most basic tier level, Express, does not come with some of the advanced features and integrations of the Professional and Enterprise tiers, requiring customers who want a more customized LMS to opt for a higher tier level.
