Tovuti LMS At A Glance
Product Overview
Tovuti LMS is a robust learning management system that lets companies quickly deploy training to their employees. Administrators can create a curriculum, assign learners and track progress. Learners can register for courses, take an online course at their convenience and collaborate with other learners. Tovuti LMS supports all learning formats, including online, instructor-led classes, blended learning and mobile learning. In addition, administrators can create micro learning (bite-sized) programs to keep their learners engaged.
The software is customizable and white-labeled, so companies have options to provide branded portals, including a built-in content management system, custom domain and a web designer. It also has a custom brand manager for creating multiple branded learning portals, each with its own logo, colors and design.
Tovuti LMS has numerous other benefits, such as:
- Flexibility in creating content
- Accessibility from any device
- An intuitive interface
- Integration with many applications via the Tovuti LMS Marketplace, Tovuti LMS Open API and Zapier
Features
Tovuti LMS has many features, and we highlight some key ones below. Note that some features are only available in the Pro tier (detailed in our Pricing section).
Content – Tovuti LMS has a built-in course authoring tool that lets administrators create up to 44 types of interactive content. They can also create quizzes within each lesson, especially in videos, to increase employee engagement. In addition, administrators can upload existing content, such as SCORM-compliant files, videos and audio, or they can purchase courses from third-party content providers. Additional features include a PowerPoint importer and a media library that stores non-training documentation (e.g., employee handbooks). And all content can be saved for future use.
Course management – Administrators can set up learning paths with checklists learners have to complete. Checklists could include specific courses, lessons, assessments and more. The software can also dynamically assign courses based on milestones learners reach, and the lesson gating feature ensures learners complete an entire lesson before starting a new one. Administrators can also track course completion, manage event/class enrollment and optionally turn on comments for each lesson.
Learner experience – Each learner has their own portal that displays a course list, badges, certificates and more. Learners can also keep track of due dates and other statues with the checklist feature. In addition, there’s a Communities social networking feature that let learners engage in discussions, write posts and chat directly with other learners. A separate feature, Forums, lets them participate in specific topics of discussion.
Lastly, with the gamification feature, learners can earn badges, points or certificates, and the points can be displayed in a leaderboard filtered by highest-earning points.
User management – Administrators can create user groups for assigning courses, granting permissions to access certain features, and more. Learners can be automatically assigned to a new user group based on milestones they’ve reached within their training. Additional user management features include manual or bulk upload, user profile fields customization and the ability to share transcripts with learners and managers.
Virtual training – Companies can train learners virtually and hold meetings using any video conferencing tool, such as Zoom, Webex or GoToMeeting. In addition, instructors can hold virtual classrooms that include whiteboards and smaller breakout rooms for learners to work in groups. The software is able to track attendance of learners for each virtual session.
eCommerce – With this feature, companies can sell their training programs via an online store. They can set prices, offer promotional codes, process credit card payments and manage orders. Using the affiliates dashboard, companies can work with their affiliate partners and track their commissions and contributions. They can also sell subscriptions to their training materials and manage discounts, renewals and more via the software.
Analytics and reports – The analytics dashboards give administrators a high-level overview of training performance. In addition, they can build custom reports on various metrics by adding fields, filters and calculations. The reports can be drilled down for further analysis and exported to an Excel or PDF file. Finally, administrators can track the learner’s progress with transcripts and gradebooks.

Implementation/Integration
While new clients can go live within days, Tovuti LMS recommends a four-week implementation timeline with its onboarding staff, so end users can get properly acclimated with the software. The company also provide a range of optional Professional Services for organizations who don’t have in-house resources at their disposal. The services include content creation, website customization, training content/design/learning paths review and content assembly.
Tovuti LMS integrates with over 30 systems through its Marketplace, from content libraries and virtual meeting solutions to payment processing systems and email providers. Additionally, users on the Pro plan can integrate with over 2,000 applications via Zapier and build a custom integration with the Tovuti LMS Open API.
