Product Overview

World Manager offers an integrated solution with five product suites, including Human Resources, Operations, Training, Scheduling and Communications. For the purpose of this review, we’ll focus on its Training and Communications suites.

World Manager’s Training suite is a cloud-based platform designed to be accessible from any device. In addition to offering training content, employers can also track training progress and sign off on employees’ training in specific areas (such as safety) for compliance purposes. This includes tracking all live training to ensure a truly blended learning approach.

One of World Manager’s unique benefits is that there are no fixed-term contracts and no setup fees. Also, product upgrades and customer support are both free.

Companies can use World Manager for a variety of training, such as new employee orientation, customer service, safety, sales/new product training and more. Because the solution is designed for mobile learning, employees can access tests and other content from their smartphones or tablets.

In addition, companies can have their World Manager platform fully customized for their brand, including a logos, company colors, login pages, backgrounds, and even the platform name.

The Communications Suite is designed to drive engagement and expand the platform to a more social experience. It includes an interactive company calendar, notices, a document library, image gallery, forums and several other key tools. This suite opens up the line of communication between all user groups in an organization.

Here are several key features of World Manager:

  • Ability to upload third-party SCORM content (e.g., videos, images, PDFs) as well as create content within World Manager
  • Ability to create a variety of tests, such as multiple choice, tick box, short answers and more
  • ACTIV authoring tools that let the employer provide training content through interactive presentations (using images, text, video and/or audio)
  • Written Tests feature for open-ended questions that are graded manually by the manager
  • Checklist sign-offs feature for managers to verify employees completed the required training (employees can countersign to acknowledge they received the training)
  • Policy management feature where employees and managers can sign an acknowledgement they’ve been briefed on company policy (e.g., sexual harassment, safety, workplace violence)
  • Real-time data and reports on not just training, but other aspects of employee management (data can be analyzed by company location, and reports can be exported to a PDF or Excel)
  • Achievement Awards tool for acknowledging employee achievement (alerts for recognition or specific employee milestones can be set up in advance)
