Product Overview
Academy of Mine is an all-in-one learning management system that enables small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to sell training programs to their clients. It’s a fully customizable software that can be built to fit an organization’s exact requirements, and it provides a branded portal that accommodates both online and offline learning. Academy of Mine integrates with third-party applications, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, email marketing providers and eCommerce solutions, and it has a REST API for companies that want to build their own integrations.
There are numerous benefits to Academy of Mine, such as:
- Accessibility on any mobile device
- 24/7 personalized customer service
- Unlimited users and courses
- Additional services (e.g., course development, data migration) to help companies grow their training programs
- Transparent pricing
Features
Here are some of Academy of Mine’s key features.
Personalized branding – Users can build a branded portal with their own URL, logo and colors. Note that companies can temporarily use Academy of Mine’s domain before switching to their own, but otherwise, the portal won’t have any mention of the vendor’s name.
Corporate and group onboarding – This feature helps organizations sell their training programs in bulk. They can streamline the process of selling multiple licenses of a single course with the Group Manager Feature. In addition, the organization’s clients each have their own dashboard, and they can assign multiple admins per group to manage their learners and track course progress.
Self-paced courses – Users can create a curriculum using a variety of content. They can upload videos, PDF and Word documents, as well as import SCORM packages from external authoring tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline. They can also set up quizzes (e.g., multiple choice, multiple correct, short answer), assignments and discussion forums. Additional features include expiration dates for courses, locking (e.g., disabling the ability to fast forward videos), time tracking, drip content (i.e., a delivery schedule for content) and automatic certificates if learners successfully finishes a course or curriculum.
Live virtual training – With this feature, trainers can conduct real-time virtual trainings and webinars using video, audio, interactive whiteboards and integrated presentations. Academy of Mine integrates with tools such as Zoom, BigBlueButton and Vimeo Live Stream. Other tools can be accessed as long as there’s a publicly-available API. Trainers can chat with students publicly or privately, as well as get their feedback (e.g., surveys) during courses. Additional features include screen sharing and session recording.
Course marketing – Users can create dynamic course sales pages that pull in data, such as pricing. They can display multiple course or product listings and give their prospects the option to search and filter the listings.
eCommerce – Academy of Mine has built-in eCommerce features, allowing organizations to sell their courses as a one-time purchase or a subscription. It can accept payments via third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Authorize.net).
Reporting and analytics – The software has reporting and analytics tools for users to measure various criteria, such as learner progress, course progress and user audits. The group reporting feature lets the admin of a group see a high-level overview of their learners. Users can also track sales orders and download the data into Excel for further analysis.

Implementation/Integration
Clients can begin using the software within 24 hours of sign-up, but implementation is typically a two-to-four-week process because of the time it takes to learn the software and create course material. Academy of Mine offers 15 free hours of onboarding that includes a requirements discussion, training, content/data migration help, basic course creation and small software customization.
The vendor provides optional services, such as website design, course design, data migration and extensive software customization.
Customer Service & Support
Users can access the help center to browse articles and submit a support ticket. Academy of Mine’s development team reviews each ticket and will respond anywhere from four to six hours on average, although sometimes sooner, depending on the ticket. The vendor also offers a dedicated account manager and phone/screen-sharing support.
