SAP SuccessFactors Learning is a learning management system where companies can offer learning programs to new hires, external partners and current employees to enable compliance and new skill development across their teams. HR professionals can provide their learners off-the-shelf courses from SAP Content Stream by Skillsoft and other content providers, as well as use automated assignments and reporting to track compliance training requirements.

The SAP Content Stream comes in seven content editions based on the organization’s requirements: productivity and collaboration, leadership and digital transformation, business essentials, technology and developer, business experts, legal compliance, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance. Managers can also track learner activity and performance with SAP Content Stream.

Compliance training – The software deploys automated compliance training assignments based on any criteria that the manager sets. It also has configurable document management and workflow policies, including e-signatures, as well as a validated cloud-based environment that supports highly-regulated industries. With the compliance reporting feature, managers can get detailed insights into their team’s training status and activities.

eCommerce – Companies can provide external training to their customers and vendors with SAP SuccessFactors Learning. They can provide personalized learning experiences with branded landing pages, promote their courses and track their learning programs. Additional eCommerce features include resourcing and scheduling, processing credit card transactions, discounts/chargebacks and audience-specific pricing rules.

SAP SuccessFactors provides a variety of implementation services that range from prepackaged implementation plans to companies that want a fully customized solution. Its Advisory Services team meets with the client to discuss the client’s unique requirements and figure out the best practice of deployment.

The vendor employs an integration delivery team to help clients integrate SAP SuccessFactors with other SAP products or the client’s existing applications. 

SAP offers instructor-led specialized training and certification programs for a variety of SAP SuccessFactors solutions. It also has a subscription-based service called SAP Learning Hub that gives users the ability to access any training content on any of its products anywhere.

The SAP Enterprise support package includes a variety of offerings for users. First, there is the customer community for users to communicate and share ideas on issues with the software or on general HR topics. There is also a support portal for browsing through articles and videos and submitting support requests. Users can also reach out to support via live chat. And users can learn more about SAP SuccessFactors via webinars. 

There’s also the SAP Preferred Success option for clients that want to work with a dedicated support manager. It provides mission-critical support and best practice for escalating support issues. For example, a priority 4 support (low priority support) response time would be within eight hours rather than two business days that SAP Enterprise support provides. The customer support manager also provides guidance in scaling or down the solution, as well as help in navigating new product releases.
