Product Overview

Engagedly is a cloud-based talent management solution with a strong focus on helping companies improve employee performance, recognition and engagement. It uses its own E3 People Success Model that consists of three pillars: Execute Performance, Enable Development and Engage People. According to Engagedly, this model “focuses on engaging employees through continuous feedback and recognition, aligning individual and team goals with organizational objectives, and enabling high performance through personalized learning and development opportunities.”

Engagedly has many benefits, such as:

  • The ability to have multiple people review employee’s performance, using 360-degree feedback and peer reviews
  • Employees receive real-time feedback at any point rather than just once a year
  • Increased collaboration, especially among remote teams
  • Intuitive interface that includes easy-to-find features
  • Very short implementation process (client can go live with platform within a few days)
  • Motivates employees in their career development with its goal-setting solution and learning experience platform

Engagedly provides a dedicated mobile app, so managers and employees can access its features anytime and anywhere.

Engagedly has introduced AI capabilities to help companies improve their performance management and employee engagement efforts even more. Marissa AI uses contextual AI that’s built on the Situation, Behavior, Impact (SBI) framework to help managers provide accurate and objective performance feedback, employees to give personalized praises to colleagues and HR teams get a better read on employee sentiments in pulse surveys. Companies that want to offer mentoring programs to their employees can use Marissa AI to promote mentoring programs to new employees, match employees to potential mentors and track the success of the programs.

Features

Engagedly has a main performance review module that contains customizable competency and performance review templates and flexible rating scales. A user dashboard displays all relevant activities from one screen. Managers can also review the statuses of all their direct reports’ performance reviews at a glance within a single screen.

There’s also a 360-degree multi-rater feedback tool to streamline the process of gathering feedback from an employee’s managers and colleagues. The solution allows the employee a choice of providing feedback anonymously, and provides managers an opportunity to nominate specific users to provide feedback.

In addition, the cascading goal-setting module allows managers to set goals for their department, themselves and individual employees. The manager can assign new goals for the employee, align the employee’s goal with the department’s with a click of a button, and monitor the goals with check-in or progress indicators. Engagedly has recently introduced a new feature that lets employees track their goals within another software (also known as “the flow of work”) such as Slack, Teams, Outlook or Google Suite.

Engagedly includes gamification activities where employees receive points or badges for completing an activity. Employees can earn enough badges or points to redeem for a gift card as a reward. Administrators can define the number of points for reward and specify the amount of the gift. Gamification tools are also available within the learning and feedback features.

Other performance management features include:

  • Option of using peer performance reviews
  • Baseline job descriptions
  • Note-taking
  • Document management
  • Employee performance history
  • Continuous one-on-one feedback in real time from managers or peers with social praise (employees can also request one-on-one feedback)
  • Employee survey tool
  • Advanced reporting and analytical tools to measure engagement and other performance metrics

And finally, Engagedly has a built-in learning experience platform (LXP) that can be used for both new hires and current employees. It uses Marissa AI to analyze employee skills and learning preferences and then recommends targeted learning paths or specific content (e.g., microlearning, live training) based on that info. Administrators can create courses (e.g., quizzes, PDFs, YouTube videos) or import SCORM and AICC courses from third-party content providers. Additional LXP features include learning automation, gamification, assessments, collaboration, compliance tracking and extended enterprise.
