Vista At A Glance
Product Overview
Vista is an end-to-end human capital management (HCM) system that automates core human resources tasks so HR administrators can focus on more strategic activities. We’ve reviewed Vista in our HRMS section. However, this review focuses on its recruiting component, Vista Recruiting.
Vista Recruiting streamlines the hiring process by automating many tasks. Recruiters can easily manage job requisitions, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates and create actionable reports.
Other benefits of Vista Recruiting include:
- Personalized career portal where applicants can submit resumes and find out more information about the company
- Dedicated hiring manager portal so hiring managers can easily access resumes and other information about candidates
- Mobile functionality so candidates can apply for jobs via smartphones or tablets
- Email messaging templates to streamline communication with candidates
- Helping organizations with compliance for federal employment laws
Vista Recruiting can be purchased as a stand-alone component or as part of a full product suite.
Features
Vista Recruiting provides clients with full requisition tools to help recruiters plan, approve and post job openings, and find applicants that match them. Recruiters can use customized criteria to easily categorize and rank applicants, such as skills or work history. They can also send screened applicants to the hiring managers for interviewing.
Additionally, there’s a dedicated portal for hiring managers where they can access information on the candidates and track applicants’ status.
Vista Recruiting also provides companies with a career portal (known as the job center) so applicants can submit resumes, find job postings and learn more about the company. The career portal can be personalized with the client’s logo and brand colors, and it has multi-language functionality. Recruiters can promote job openings on the company’s website and direct applicants to the career portal.
Vista Recruiting automates communication between the recruiter and the applicant with built-in messaging templates – for example, informing candidates of their application status or inviting them to an interview.
The solution also includes built-in reporting tools so recruiters can analyze metrics such as requisition and applicant data. Reports can be saved in a variety of formats and automatically scheduled.
Finally, there’s the “click to hire” feature that automatically transfers all applicant data into the new-hire wizard for onboarding.
Target Market
Vista is intended for mid-size and enterprise companies (with 300 to 10,000 employees) in the U.S. and Canada. It targets all industries, including professional services, education, government, manufacturing and utilities.
