Product Overview

OrangeHRM is one of the few human resource management systems (HRMS) on the market with an open-source platform. It includes HR administrations and other common features, such as time-off management, recruitment and performance management. OrangeHRM also has a paid package (Advanced) for companies that require advanced functionality.

Each of OrangeHRM’s packages have similar Core HR features.

The Starter (open source) packages gives the basics for handling HR administrative tasks, while the Advanced package provides advanced features.

Implementation/Integration

Implementation is described in a five-step process:

OrangeHRM offers on-site and online implementation. Online training is delivered through Cisco Webex, while on-site training brings OrangeHRM staff to your company site. Flexible course scheduling works around the company’s productivity, and materials are adjusted to fit individual needs.

Customer Service & Support

OrangeHRM has a community forum for its open-source users. For users on its Advanced package, it also offers an in-app ticketing system, a help portal, phone support and email support.

Pricing

OrangeHRM doesn’t publicly release pricing information for the Advanced package, so you’ll have to contact the vendor directly for a quote.

Shortcomings

OrangeHRM doesn’t have a payroll module, but it can integrate with some payroll systems. Also, the benefits module is only available for U.S. customers.
