Product Overview

Fracttal is a maintenance and enterprise asset management solution that helps companies successfully monitor and track all of their assets in real time. It relies on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and big data to proactively predict and respond to any possible equipment failure so equipment downtime is minimal.

Fracttal includes four major components, which we detail in our Features section below:

Fracttal Asset Cloud – Fracttal Asset Cloud allows businesses to manage their assets, work orders, labor and budgets. It also includes business intelligence features such as the key performance indicators (KPI) dashboard that gives managers instant visibility on all maintenance activities.

Fracttal Asset Cloud has multi-site capability, so managers can track all activities in multiple warehouses or locations. There’s also a maintenance planning calendar to help managers and technicians monitor all planned maintenance tasks by asset, location or technician. Users can drill down into each planned task or group them by maintenance type.

Managers and technicians can efficiently track all work orders with a Kanban view and drag work orders between various stages. There’s also a human resources feature that records all information on the maintenance team, such as personnel information, certifications/licenses and organizational structure.

Fracttal Mobile – The Fracttal Mobile app allows field technicians to track work orders and other maintenance activities without being in the office. Technicians can update work statuses, take pictures of completed work or breakdowns, and record the time/location of any maintenance activity. They can also scan QR codes to quickly bring up an asset’s status, a history of work performed and any open work orders. Technicians receive real-time notifications of any job requests or emergencies.

Fracttal Box – Fracttal Box uses IIoT by connecting any physical asset or equipment to the internet and converting any gathered information into relevant maintenance actions. It monitors various aspects of an asset’s condition, such as temperature, humidity, amperage and vibration.

It also includes a GPS asset-tracking feature that detects asset movements and creates virtual geographic boundaries for assets using geofencing capabilities. Fracttal Box performs remote maintenance by scheduling maintenance cycles and detecting failures.

Fracttal On Board – Fracttal On Board monitors the conditions of a company’s vehicles to improve productivity and reduce accidents or failures. It includes an online mileage log that consolidates the routes of all vehicles, vehicle and driver performance identification, alerts on high-speed or dangerous driving behavior and security measures that reduce unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Because each company has its own needs and requirements, Fracttal implementation doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Fracttal offers a variety of implementation methods that range from remote support to on-site implementation.

Customer Service & Support

Fracttal offers on-site and off-site training services via its partner, EAMS Global. Training is provided to end users on not just the platform’s features, but on other maintenance management topics such as operational risk management, maintenance planning practices, physical asset management and inventory management.

Email support and an online resource center are available on all subscription plans. However, phone and live chat support are only available to users on the Standard, Professional and Enterprise feature packs. Phone support is available during normal business hours.

Fracttal provides optional consulting services, such as MRO management and optimization, bureau services (maintenance management and planning services), asset identification, equipment condition monitoring and risk management.


Fracttal offers pay-as-you-use subscription plans so clients with limited requirements don’t have to pay the same amount that clients with more extensive requirements do.

There’s a two-step pricing model. The first step consists of four tiers based on the number of users.

  • View Only – The View Only tier costs $5 per user, per month. Within the tier, each user has view-only access to features such as unlimited work orders and assets, equipment catalog and tasks.
  • Technicians – The Technicians tier costs $15 per user, per month, and it allows users to create or edit an unlimited number of work orders.
  • Manager/Engineering/Warehouse – This tier costs $25 per user, per month. It allows users to create or edit work orders, assets, equipment/tools/spare parts/digital catalogs, warehouses, planning and tasks. Users can also access business intelligence features.
  • System Administrator – The System Administrator tier costs $40 per user, per month, and it requires at least one system administrator on the account.

The second step is the feature pack, which has four tiers:

  • Basic – The Basic feature pack is included in the original subscription price. It includes unlimited storage, human resources functionality, a localization catalog, and data import/export.
  • Standard – The Standard feature pack is $25 a month. In addition to the features of the Basic pack, it includes automation, 10 requestors, mass exports, batch edits, the ability to clone assets and task plans, and non-service maintenance.
  • Professional – The Professional feature pack costs $75 a month. In addition to the features of the other plans, it includes monitoring, 25 requestors, labor calendar configuration, multiple site tracking, regulations and warranties, and user and technicians certifications.
  • Enterprise – The Enterprise feature pack costs $175 a month. Additional features offered are branding, unlimited requestors, advanced business intelligence, machine learning, a guest portal, an application program interface (API) and a transaction log.

The Fracttal Box and On Board components, as well as web-based training, custom integrations and on-site implementation, are offered at an extra cost.


Fracttal doesn’t offer on-premise deployment. Companies that require this option can check out our other CMMS solutions.
