TabWare At A Glance
AssetPoint’s TabWare solution is designed to help maintenance professionals maximize the life of their assets. Other benefits include improving maintenance operations, adhering to regulatory compliance standards, and controlling maintenance costs. TabWare also has easy-to-use features, such as reduced data entry redundancy, equipment hierarchy, ability to drag and drop, and point and click items, and mobile solutions designed for specific maintenance roles.
Another benefit of TabWare is that its SaaS deployment option greatly reduces IT time and expense as there are no servers or licenses to buy and maintain.
Users can also monitor safety management practices with TabWare – i.e. by including Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) or other safe work practices in a work order. TabWare also supports Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) programs, where users can enter safety incident data without a work order, track hazardous material spill response and activity, and providing employee fit-to-work information that links to an employee’s records.
TabWare provides many standard maintenance features, such as asset management, work orders, scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and preventive maintenance. It also offers these features:
TabWare Analytics – a Business Intelligence (BI) functionality that allow users to perform analytics of their maintenance operations. It provides self-service functionality, interactive multi-dimensional analysis, drill-down data views, measure unique KPIs and metrics, and is available via mobile devices
Event tracking – Users can track various events, such as equipment downtime, operator-performed maintenance, accidents and incidents, emergency response training, and audits information
Resource Management – Managers can track information on staff and outside contractors, such as job roles, training history, skills and labor rates, emergency contact information, and time sheets. It can be integrated with the Work Order and Scheduling modules.
Requisition Tracking – Users can track internal requisitions, such as parts and services, as well as create requisitions directly from work orders. This module also provides drag-and-drop ability, as well as tracking costs across multiple accounts. This module is also available on mobile devices.
Invoice Matching – This module provides users a way to enter and track invoices, such as 2-way or 3-way invoice matching, manage discounts and credit memos, multiple currency support, and manage payment voucher approvals.
TabWare also supports managing inventory and orders across multiple warehouses/locations, strong security features, and role-based solutions.
TabWare has recently added two new features:
TabWare Technician: This work execution solution is specifically designed for maintenance technicians. In addition to viewing work order details, technicians can charge time, issue parts, enter notes, failure codes and complete the job on any device. TabWare Technician also supports Inspection Points and Calibrations tasks. TabWare Technician features electronic checklists that are user configurable with checkboxes, free text fields, valid values drop down lists and numeric value fields, as well as high and low tolerances and automatics pass / fail inspections when tolerances exceed a desired state.
TabWare Stores: TabWare Stores helps increase efficiency for storeroom clerks by providing them with a mobile-friendly, easy to use solution. With TabWare Stores, storeroom clerks are able to record inventory transactions instantly anywhere. TabWare Stores fully supports barcoding, and inventory issues, returns and cycle counts can all be recorded using laptops, desktops, smartphones or tablets. With point-of-execution data capturing capabilities, quantities and statuses on Work Orders (WO), Requisitions and Accounts are instantly updated as transactions occur.

Users can contact Customer Support via phone or email. They can also access the Web-based Customer Portal, where they can submit service requests and access the KnowledgeBase (to review FAQs and troubleshooting suggestions).
