Product Overview
WaspTime is a time-clock solution designed to track employees’ hours and attendance. It offers several benefits, such as:
- Fewer manual data entry errors/improved accuracy
- Reduces time in processing payroll and integrates with many payroll systems, including Intuit Quickbooks
- Provides rules for rounding up to nearest minute or hour worked, as well as overtime
- Provides over 30 reporting templates for managers to track overall attendance and overtime

WaspTime is available in three versions: Standard, Professional and Enterprise. There are also several time-clock hardware options, such as barcode, biometric, HID and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).

Implementation/Integration
WaspTime is available to purchase online. Clients have the option of purchasing just the time-clock hardware, just the time-clock software, or both hardware and software.
Once the software is purchased, users can download and install it on a PC. Wasp recommends users contact its sales staff if they wish to purchase a customized configuration.
Wasp provides four training options for WaspTime. First, there’s the live one-hour Web training that reviews the basic installation procedures. The Web training is also recorded for later. Second, there are on-demand videos of product tutorials. The Web training and product tutorials are free. Next, Wasp offers instructor-led training conducted over the Web. And finally, there’s the option of customized training done at the client’s site.
Customer Service & Support
Wasp has an online support center with a knowledge base and news about its products and upcoming releases.
Users can also submit a ticket via the support center as well as engage in live chat with customer service. Other support options include phone support and an online help manual.
Tech support is free for the lifetime of the product.

Shortcomings
WaspTime isn’t Mac-compatible. It’s also not available in the cloud and doesn’t feature vacation/leave tracking.
