Saba’s fully connected talent development solution is designed to help organization’s empower and motivate employees to learn, without sacrificing the tools and insights required to drive a high performing business. Saba’s learning solution puts employees and teams at the center of their own talent development experience, one that is self-driven, ongoing, interactive, relevant, and rewarding.

Saba Learning is also hyperconnected to Saba’s other talent management offerings, including Saba Performance, Succession, Workforce Planning, Recruiting, and Compensation. For example, Saba can facilitate onboarding programs for new recruits, develop employee skills required for succession purposes, develop employee skills required to achieve performance objectives, and more.


Saba Learning offers a wide range of learning capabilities from web-based formal training (e.g. classes, courses, certifications) to self-driven informal, social, micro, video learning and more.

From a formal learning perspective, Saba can assign and track compliance and safety training, as well as automatically recommend personalized learning to employees focused on skill and career development. Saba Learning is also highly connectable, where third-party learning content from OpenSesame, Harvard Manage Mentor, SkillSoft and LinkedIn Learning, can seamlessly be imported, managed and tracked in the solution.

As employees complete any learning in Saba, they can receive points and badges that are redeemable for rewards, helping to motivate and engage employees with their learning.

From an informal learning perspective, employees can create and share content with their peers directly in the system, allowing the organization to capitalize on the expertise of their subject matter experts. Employees are also empowered to discover learning on the web and bring that learning back into Saba as part of their Talent Development plans.

Saba’s solution comes with a built-in analytics engine that can track and analyze the effectiveness of everything from compliance training to informal resources shared by employees. These insights can be leveraged to demonstrate value and to measure the impact that learning programs have on performance outcomes. Saba also has a pulse survey tool that gathers real-time engagement insights on a regular basis.

  • Regional User Group Meetings: Throughout the year Saba hosts user group meetings in locations across the globe, where customers can learn best practices and network with other Saba customers.
  • Annual customer conference: Each year, Saba hosts a customer conference where customers can learn and share best practices in talent development, network with their peers, and gain insight into Saba’s product roadmap and strategy.
