Grovo Learning is a learning management system aimed at businesses of all sizes and industries. It uses a microlearning approach consisting of many 60-second videos on different workplace topics.

How Much is Grovo?

Grovo’s pricing is based on a pay-per-learner approach and consists of three subscription plans.

Starter: The Starter plan is priced at $69 per user annually. It’s mainly targeted to small businesses. The plan includes:

  • Up to 5 GB of content users can upload
  • Mobile access
  • Customized learning tracks
  • Content management, including SCORM-compliant content
  • Analytics features
  • Customized learning plans
  • Competency-based templates
  • Lessons on soft skills
  • Implementation (note that there are additional fees for implementation based on client requirements)
  • Customer support

Plus: The Plus plan, aimed at medium-sized businesses, costs $109 per user annually. It includes all features in the Starter plan, plus:

  • Company-branded platform
  • Up to 50 GB of content users can upload
  • Lessons on digital skills and management skills

Premium: The Premium plan is targeted to larger companies. It’s priced at $139 per user (annually) and includes all features of the Starter and Plus plans as well as:

Top Alternatives to Grovo

Compared to other vendors we’ve reviewed, Grovo’s pricing plans are more affordable. However, the microlearning approach may not be every company’s cup of tea.  Here are two other alternatives using the pay-per-learner pricing strategy.

Configio: Configio’s pricing consists of four subscription plans that range from Starter ($55 per user per month) to Enterprise ($275 per user per month). In addition to its LMS solution, Configio offers customer relationship management (CRM), time tracking, ecommerce and email campaign management features. LMS features are only included in the Business ($155 per user monthly) and Enterprise plans.

Schoox: Schoox offers a free 30-day trial and three subscription plans. The Light Academy plan is priced at $149 a month and covers up to 25 employees. The Professional Academy plan costs $249 monthly and includes 26 to 50 employees. The Enterprise Academy plan is for companies with more than 50 learners and costs $4 per learner per month. All three plans include the same features, but different storage amounts for content.


With its three subscription-based pricing plans, Grovo provides microlearning content in the form of 60-second videos in a variety of topics. However, if you’re looking for a different approach to learning, there are other LMS solutions on the market.
