Product Overview

The MFC-L2750DW Series are all-in-one devices aimed at the home office / small office market. They print and copy at up to 36 ppm, and include standard printing, copying, scanning and faxing features. The MFC-L2750DW ($250) is the base model, while the MFC-L2750DW XL includes its high-yield and super high-yield toner cartridges (approximately up to 7,500 pages) shipped with the device.

Both devices include a 2.7″ color touchscreen for accessing common printing and scanning workflows. There is 256 MB of memory that’s not expandable. PCL printing is supported, as well as Brother’s proprietary PostScript language. USB, Ethernet and wireless connectivity are all standard. Mobile printing and scanning is supported via the Brother iPrint&Scan app, AirPrint, and Google Cloud Print.

More details are in our Features section below.

The MFC-L2750DW all-in-ones are compact and affordable devices for small businesses that need multifunction capabilities but don’t require color printing or copying.

Features

Standard paper handling starts with a 250-sheet tray and a single-sheet manual bypass. There are no optional paper trays. Both trays handle up to legal-sized (8.5″ x 14″) paper. The output capacity is 100 sheets (face down). There is also a 50-sheet automatic document feeder that supports standard duplexing.

Each device has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 15,000 pages, but Brother recommends printing up to 2,000 pages per month.

The scanning function supports scan to email, to file, to image, to OCR, to FTP, to Microsoft SharePoint, and to the cloud. Cloud services include Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, Microsoft OneDrive and OneNote, and Box.

The faxing function includes a 33.6kbps modem, up to 500 pages of fax memory and PC faxing.

The MFC-L2750DW ships with a 1,200-page standard yield toner. However, the MFC-L2750DW XL ships with the 3,000-page high-yield toner and the 4,500-page super high-yield toner. Businesses that purchase the MFC-L2750DW XL can potentially go two years before purchasing a new toner cartridge.

We’ve calculated the cost per page based on the super high-yield toner and prices on Brother Mall’s site. The cost per page is approximately 3.5 cents, which is affordable for a small business. Aside from using the super high-yield toner, businesses can take advantage of the duplexing features to help save on printing expenses.

The MFC-L2750DW has a one-year limited warranty, while the MFC-L2750DW XL has a two-year limited warranty.
