Product Overview

SilkRoad offers a flexible and scalable talent management and HR solution. Companies can purchase a specific solution or an entire suite that integrates all of their HR functions. The following solutions are below:

SilkRoad LifeSuite – The LifeSuite is an end-to-end talent management solution that handles function from recruiting to onboarding to performance and learning to HRMS. The suite offers social collaboration, mobile functionality, reporting and analytics, and self service. Companies can also integrate SilkRoad with their other systems, such as payroll, time & attendance, and benefits – companies can even migrate data from older HR software. What’s included in the LifeSuite?

OpenHire (SilkRoad Recruiting) -This recruiting system includes an applicant tracking system as well as a Social Recruiting Media Toolkit. The toolkit allows recruiters to post jobs via job boards and social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Candidates can also apply for jobs as well as share job descriptions with others. There is also a dedicated Candidate Portal where employers can personalize based on their company’s brand (such as posting pictures and videos about the organization). Recruiters can screen candidates via the portal and update postings anywhere anytime.

RedCarpet (SilkRoad Onboarding) -This onboarding solution is automated and paperless – it allows new hires to complete the necessary paperwork online in order to save company time and money. Employers can create customized onboarding content, as well as update content at any time. We want to note that this solution is certified as a U.S. Department of Homeland Security employer agent, meaning employers can utilize all of the tools to ensure timely I-9 and other legal compliance.

WingSpan (SilkRoad Performance) – In this solution, employers have access to an employee’s performance and goals within one system. Employers can also seek feedback from others, view an employee’s past performance reviews, and create performance evaluation forms. Other features include 360-degree reviews, goals assessment, compensation management, and succession planning.

GreenLight (SilkRoad Learning Management System) – This LMS can be accessible for any employee anywhere at any time via the employer’s website. Employers can also create custom training based on department or job roles – and training can be done either online, in a classroom setting, or both. To help reduce time and cost of training, the LMS also includes course scheduling and reporting, learning plan development, and catalog management. There is even a few off-the-shelf courses offered by SilkRoad, such as anti-harassment and Microsoft Office. Companies can also sell eLearning courses via the LMS.

Talent Portal  – It combines talent management with other HR functions and is a dedicated employee portal. Employees can view internal job postings, manage their performance and development, and collaborate with other employees on tasks and projects.

Heartbeat (SilkRoad HRMS) – This is a traditional HRMS that allow companies to integrate their payroll, benefits, and other HR functions. Employees can also access this portal to view their vacation time, request time off, view company policies, and edit personal details. There is also a reporting and analytics module that allows executive, HR, and managers to access and analyze employee and other HR data – reports can be created, as well as sorted and filtered by key data points. Reports can be extracted to PDF and Excel.

SilkRoad have a team of implementation specialists dedicated to assist companies in implementation. They provide project scoping, consulting services, and system configuration prior to implementation. SilkRoad’s system can be integrated with existing solutions, such as payroll, ERP, and older HR software and has been deployed in more than 30 countries.

SilkRoad offers training on its products via e-learning, onsite classes, custom webinars, and custom training videos. Training is provided either before, during, or after the system is launched. Also, for current customers, SilkRoad offers its “Monday with SilkRoad” training sessions on a variety of SilkRoad topics.

Customer Service & Support

Customer support is 24/7/365, available by phone, email, and via a support site. Customers will have their own login information for the support site, where they can access documentation or contact a service rep. SilkRoad offers a customer reward program called “SilkRoad Champions Program”, where they can earn up to more than 3,000 points in a given year and earn a free pass to the SilkRoad Connections user conference. Companies can earn points by having their success story published on SilkRoad’s website, provide quotes in press releases, and provide references to prospective customers.
