PeopleGuru HCM is a single, cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) application designed to help mid-market organizations successfully manage every stage of the employee lifecycle.  All of PeopleGuru HCM’s solutions are on a single database platform rather than a modular design, so clients won’t need to purchase multiple modules or integrate to third-party systems.

Features

We briefly describe the key features of each PeopleGuru HCM solution:

Core HR – The Core HR solution includes a master record of each employee with information, such as job title, compensation, certification and skills. It also has employee and manager self-service functionality. Other features this solution has are electronic documents, notes and attachments, standard reporting tools and native mobile apps.

Payroll – The payroll solution includes a payroll wizard that guides the administrator through a step-by-step payroll process. The administrator can also run reports off of the 60 reporting templates. Other features include full-service tax filing, alerts if payroll discrepancies are found, the ability to reset payroll processing before posting and flexible pay structure, such as shift pay.

Time & Labor – The Time & Labor solution can be configured to handle simple or complex timekeeping records. It captures time data by web clock, mobile devices, biometric solutions (i.e., fingerprint) and badge readers. The various time collection methods benefit companies in controlling labor costs, eliminating manual timekeeping and reducing the risk of buddy punching.

Benefits Management – The benefits management solution allows employees to compare different plans and complete enrollment themselves rather than the administrator. Employees can enroll via the web or their mobile devices. They can also view or print their health insurance ID cards straight from the platform.

Salary – With the salary tool, division directors and managers access transparent salary information on their employees, as well as compare salaries of different employees. The solution has a Salary Budgeting Guru, a step-by-step wizard that establishes budget, updates salary events (such as raises or bonuses), maintains salary workflows and sends notifications. It also records all details of an employee’s salary history.

Recruiting – With the recruiting solution, recruiters can post job openings, create job requisitions, pre-screen candidates and schedule interviews. They can also track the candidate pipeline, as well as measure their recruiting efforts with a built-in dashboard. PeopleGuru Recruiting also supports embedded videos and questionnaires.

Onboarding – The onboarding solution provides a paperless experience for new hires, such as downloading the required forms (such as I9 and W4 forms) and signing documents electronically.

Performance – With the performance solution, managers can create customized performance reviews with a few clicks. They can also conduct employee reviews with the at-a-glance table where they can drill down into each employee’s review and leave comments or rating. The performance solution supports agile performance reviews, talent assessments and peer reviews. Employees can write self-evaluations, provide feedback on a peer employee review or receive feedback. This solution is also accessible via mobile devices so managers and employees can access the solution outside of business hours.

Self-service / Social – Employees have access to all their personnel information, such as pay history, vacation leave and benefits information, through a single employee profile panel. Employees can update their information without sending the information to HR. Managers can communicate with their employees with the direct messaging feature.

PeopleGuru has a built-in social networking feature similar to LinkedIn where employees access a daily news feed. The news feed contains company updates, awards and recognition, and general statuses where users can leave comments.

ACA – PeopleGuru ACA eliminates the administrative burden of complying with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements. Administrators can view the count of full-time and part-time employees and contractors, file year-end reports, and print 1094 and 1095 forms. PeopleGuru also provides ACA compliance services for companies that don’t have the resources to handle this task in-house.

Reporting – The reporting solution includes over 400 reporting templates, configurable dashboards and ad-hoc reporting functionality. It also supports big data.

Implementation/Integration

New clients are assigned a dedicated Guru Project Manager for the implementation process. PeopleGuru has a phased implementation methodology that’s based on the client’s company size and any unique requirements. The timeline can range from 12 to 16 weeks.

PeopleGuru leverages two main phases of its methodology. Phase 1 focuses on deploying the core HR, payroll, time and labor, and benefits tools. Phase 2 focuses on deploying the recruitment, onboarding, performance management and social engagement tools.

Customer Service & Support

Each client is assigned PeopleGuru’s dedicated Account Management team for post-implementation services. It has a two-tier service model that includes a Client Service Guru for help desk support and a Strategic Account Guru that helps clients get the most return on investment with the software.

Great software with lots of customer support love

My company converted recently to PeopleGuru. We have 550 employees and are growing to 900 by year end. So far the experience has been really good. We did have a couple of hiccups during our implementation but my account manager sorted them out straight away.

Tired of ADP!

We have been through almost every payroll company. ADP, Paychex, Ceridian, and Paycom over the last 22 years we have been in business. The software for all of these companies is pretty much the same. Not bad - but not great. The primary issue we have always had was with customer service. These companies all have call centers and we were simply a "number " to them. I hate having to explain who we are and getting a different customer service rep every time we call in. We discovered PeopleGuru at a trade show and were very impressed. We have 345 employees with a fairly complex payroll. We are using PeopleGuru for payroll, timeclocks, HR, recruitment and onboarding.
