Here are some key features of EMP Trust HR:

Applicant tracking – Companies can build a branded career page that includes online job applications. Recruiters can encourage employees to share job postings with their network to increase referrals and candidate pools.

Interviewing – Recruiters can track the candidate process with custom email templates and notifications, and they can coordinate interview schedules using integrated Outlook and Gmail calendars. In addition, the hiring team can get interview notifications and provide feedback on the job applicant.

Background checks and job offers – The software includes forms and reporting to help companies stay in compliance with regs from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Recruiters can track Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC) data, and they can also conduct background, drug and credit checks with a network of EMP Trust’s screening partners.

In addition, recruiters can manage the job-offer process with custom offer letter templates, email notifications and electronic signatures.

Employee onboarding portal – EMP Trust HR has a custom new-hire onboarding portal that lets users add their company’s branding elements (e.g., colors, logos). It has an intuitive content management system where users can include text, images or videos. They can also add new pages or make edits. For new hires, the portal has an onboarding wizard that guides them in learning about the company and completing important paperwork before their first day (e.g., filling out federal and state withholding forms, signing up for benefits).

Onboarding reports and dashboard – HR staff can stay on top of onboarding processes by tracking real-time status updates via a dashboard. The dashboard can be filtered based on date, location or department. Recruiters can also create reports that can be exported to Excel, PDF or the web. The report hides personally identifying information to prevent disclosure.

Forms management – Users can store their electronic forms within the software, such as forms for federal and state withholding, direct deposits, beneficiaries, company policies, background check authorizations and reference check authorizations. In addition, they can store specific forms for to the country in which they do business.

Form I-9 – The vendor offers a dedicated Form I-9 module, where companies can collect and manage I-9 data across multiple departments or locations. The software allows remote hires to complete Form I-9 without having to travel to the company’s office. Some key features of the module includes error checking for missing or incomplete forms, batch loads for high-volume hiring, custom workflows, electronic signatures, alerts/notifications, reports and dashboards, and the ability to purge older data under the one-year or three-year rule.

The Form I-9 module integrates with the federal E-Verify service, so companies can easily verify employees’ work authorization without having to manually enter data. Finally, EMP Trust HR has a paper conversion service that lets companies migrate paper Forms I-9 into an electronic version.
