Apploi At A Glance

Good: Flexible communication with candidates (e.g., text, email), mobile-optimized application portal, ability to measure success of recruiting campaigns.
Bad: Some recruiters may have difficulty finding qualified candidates for specialized or higher-up roles.
Bottom Line: High-volume recruiting software that helps companies hire and onboard part-time and hourly workers faster.

Product Overview

Apploi started out as an end-to-end recruiting software but has grown to become a HR software solution specifically designed for the healthcare industry. The focus of this review will be on its recruiting and onboarding features.

Apploi’s recruiting features help organizations with their recruitment marketing strategy and streamlines the hiring process through their ATS. Recruiters can promote the jobs across 40+ job boards and social sites (Indeed, Ziprecruiter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google). Then, they can easily screen candidates, schedule interviews and communicate with them (e.g., text or email) via the software. Recruiters can also send email and text marketing campaigns through mobile devices, and applicants can send their resumes via their mobile device with a single click.

Apploi contends that recruiters who use the software see up to 71% reduction in days to hire. The onboarding process is efficient too, since recruiters can send forms for new hires to fill out directly from the software.

Features

Recruiters can create mobile-optimized job postings that Apploi sends to over 40 job boards (e.g., Indeed, Ziprecruiter, Google). They can also capture applicants’ information offline and funnel it through the pipeline. They can easily manage their funnels by filtering applicants, reviewing their materials and creating notes about them. The analytics tools help recruiters track each campaign’s metrics, such as the number of interested candidates per job board.

Recruiters can also design specific screening questions for each job, and candidates can then submit written or video-recorded responses. Apploi has an in-platform messaging system that allows recruiters to email or text candidates at any point during the hiring process. In addition, there’s a medical credentialing feature that checks for updated healthcare licenses for candidates and then stores and tracks them once the candidate is hired.

Apploi integrates with Calendly, so candidates can select an interview time slot from the recruiter’s calendar.

Finally, all the candidate’s information is stored within Apploi, so recruiters won’t need to manually create a new record for new hire onboarding. Recruiters can also track each task that’s associated with the onboarding process.
