Product Overview

Bullhorn is an end-to-end recruiting software that helps staffing companies manage both the front end and the back end of their businesses. It has a modular structure that includes applicant tracking, customer relationship management (CRM), onboarding, business intelligence and vendor management system (VMS) integration.

Bullhorn has several benefits, such as:

  • Recruiting workflows are streamlined, improving productivity
  • Ability to make better business decisions using Bullhorn’s built-in reporting tools
  • Ability to improve service/relationships with candidates and clients with Bullhorn’s relationship intelligence solution
  • Scalable and extensible platform with the ability to build customized applications via Bullhorn API

Features

Here are some of the key features of Bullhorn’s applicant tracking system:

  • Accelerator feature for capturing information on candidates from the web
  • Ability to parse resumes and applications that then pre-populate fields within candidate records
  • “Fast find” search bar, Boolean search and other advanced search functionalities for finding candidates quickly
  • Integration with Gmail and Microsoft Outlook
  • Integration with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Standard and customizable analytical and reporting tools
  • Mobile functionality
  • Automatic tracking of all email activity within a candidate’s records

Bullhorn’s CRM includes some of the same features as its applicant tracking system, such as the Accelerator and email integration. Other key features are:

  • Relationship tracking technology that tracks the progression of the relationship between sales rep and prospect
  • Standard and customizble reporting templates, including salesperson activity reports and job-specific activity reports
  • Ability to view and edit records from mobile devices
  • Lead and opportunity management

Bullhorn offers its Pulse Relationship Intelligence solution that helps recruiters get visibility and transparency in communications with candidates and clients. Email and phone conversations synced with Pulse so these conversations are stored within the platform. Pulse pulls insights and action plans from those conversations so recruiters know when to follow up or act on the details.

Bullhorn’s onboarding module (included as a separate cost but integrates with its ATS) includes document management, customized online portal and e-signature features. It also integrates with E-Verify.

Other optional modules include middle and back office (for commissions and time and expense features), Herefish by Bullhorn (recruitment automation), Bullhorn Messaging, Bullhorn Reporting, Bullhorn Analytics, Bullhorn for Salesforce and integration to VMS systems.
