Oracle Cloud HCM’s Talent Management modules manage the entire talent life-cycle from sourcing and recruiting candidates, on-boarding new hires, managing goals and performance, rewarding for performance, providing continuous learning, developing careers, conducting talent reviews and planning succession to keeping the talent engaged.

The software includes social networking tools that allow companies with social sourcing capabilities to tap into internal social networks and rich staff networks to improve employee engagement and information sharing.

Embedded and integrated analytics are also incorporated into the platform to support sound data-driven decision making.

The Oracle Recruiting module addresses the challenges of recruiting by leveraging a data-driven approach and a mobile-first user interface (UI) to source and engage both internal and external candidates, and apply business insights across all of HCM for better hiring decisions.

Users can streamline the onboarding process with the Oracle Onboarding module. Employees can easily fill out their paperwork electronically from any device, and the digital assistant provides step-by-step guidance in completing the tasks.

Oracle Performance Management fully automates the performance process and provides executives, managers, and employees with valuable and immediate insight to workforce performance progression and its alignment with organizational objectives. It provides a personalized recommendations for specific jobs the employee can apply for based on their skills or interests. They can also apply for internal gigs or projects that can help them acquire new skills in a particular area.

The Dynamic Skills feature lets employees and managers continuously keep their skills up to date. Each employee gets their own personalized portal for keeping track of their skills and any recommendations they receive, and they can solicit skills endorsements from their colleagues. In addition, managers can track their team’s skill developments via the Team Skills Center.

Oracle Corporation offers the following deployment options for its Oracle Cloud HCM solution:

Public cloud – With the public cloud option, applications are accessible by the general public and provided on a subscription basis, with no need to purchase additional support or licenses. The services are hosted by Oracle business partners or Oracle over the internet.

Private cloud – The private cloud deployment includes managed services of both hardware and applications that are available internally, covered by a firewall and hosted by Oracle business partners or Oracle over the web. Oracle conducts patching, monitoring, upgrades, security and system management services.

On-premise – On-premise implementation includes software licenses, support and hardware that clients purchase and host at one or more of their sites. Customers are responsible for the management, patching, upgrades and security.

Hybrid – With the hybrid option, clients can maintain their existing legacy software on-premise and purchase applications that are hosted in the public or private cloud.

Customer Service & Support

Oracle Corporation offers a range of support services. First, Oracle Premier Support includes 24/7 issue prevention, tech support and access to product upgrades. Customers also get a Lifetime Support Policy that allows them to upgrade whenever they’re ready. Second, Advanced Customer Service Support is ideal for complex environments, such as IT clusters in big organizations. Third, the My Oracle Support portal enables users to send requests for tech support, communicate with other Oracle Cloud customers and download application updates.
