Product Overview

The HP Officejet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer is a smart printer designed to help small businesses improve their productivity. It offers printing, copying, scanning and faxing features, and has an ISO print speed of up to 22 ppm (black) and up to 18 ppm (color). One of the newer features of this printer is Smart Tasks, a HP Smart print app feature that automates tasks like sending scanned documents to the cloud. Users can also create editable and searchable documents with this feature.

The Officejet Pro 9015 includes a 2.65″ touchscreen display, 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB of memory. Its first-page-out time in color is approximately 10 seconds. USB, Ethernet and wireless connectivity is standard, and in addition to the HP Smart app, mobile printing is available via Apple AirPrint and other Mopria certified apps.

More details is in our Features section below.

Features

Paper handling consists of a 250-sheet input tray and a 35-sheet automatic document feeder that supports single-pass dual-scan duplexing. There’s also a 60-sheet output tray. The monthly duty cycle is 25,000 pages, but HP recommends an average volume of 1,500 pages per month.

The scanning function supports file formats, such as PDF, JPEG, TIFF and RTF. Users can send to email, to network folder, to SharePoint and to thumb drive. They can also print from and scan to cloud storage accounts, such as Google Drive and Dropbox.

The faxing function includes a 33.6 kbps modem and up to 100 pages of memory. Some features include PC faxing, automatic fax reduction, automatic redialing and fax forwarding.

The printer’s replacement ink cartridges consist of standard- and high-yield black, magenta, cyan and yellow ink. We’ve calculated the cost per page based on the high-yield cartridges (2,000 pages per black and 1,600 pages per color), which is 2.2 cents in black and 8.8 cents in color. In addition to using high-yield cartridges, users can take advantages of duplexing and other environmentally-friendly features to keep the printing costs down.

Finally, there’s a one-year limited hardware warranty and HP offers optional extended warranty packages.

Shortcomings
