Oasis LMS At A Glance

Good: Free implementation and training, flexible configuration, native mobile app (available on Enterprise tier).
Bad: Not intended for companies that want to internally train employees.
Bottom Line: Modular and flexible learning management platform for educators to offer training programs to learners.

Product Overview

Oasis LMS is a white-labeled learning management system that gives educators a flexible platform for their learners. The platform has a modular design so clients only have to pay for the features they need. It’s also customizable based on the client’s branding (e.g., logo, colors) or other requirements.

The solution is divided into three main modules: online learning, self-assessment exams and an item bank.  We discuss each module in our Features section below.

Oasis LMS is built on a single-tenant architecture and hosted on the Amazon cloud network. All content, including videos, is automatically uploaded and spread across Amazon’s network.

For clients that provide multiple training products to learners, Oasis LMS offers its Oasis EcoSystem. If different products share the same content (True-False test questions, for example), the content is hosted in the item bank module for easy distribution across each product.

In addition, there’s the OasisMobile app available only on the Enterprise tier. It’s a native iOS app that includes the same content and assessments that are available in the web browser. The app can also be configured to include the client’s branding. Content can be downloaded and viewed offline.

Here are some of the key features within each module of Oasis LMS:

Oasis LMS provides free implementation and software customization with a signed contract. The client may have to pay additional fees for various services after implementation. The vendor follows the standard process for LMS implementation, including planning, configuring and testing.

Oasis LMS includes a free proof-of-concept (POC) sandbox so clients can see and test the design of the LMS before it’s actually implemented. Note that the POC sandbox only includes basic features and modules. It doesn’t include actual customization or any data migrated from an older system.

For a fee, Oasis LMS offers data migration to clients.

Customer Service & Support

There’s a documentation portal for Oasis LMS where users can find tips, features and other information. Users can also contact support by phone during normal business hours.

The level of support available to clients is based on pricing tiers. The starter plan offers email support with a 24-hour response time. The Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans include a dedicated account manager, but the response time varies. The Standard plan offers a 24-hour response time, the Professional plan offers an eight-hour response time, and the Enterprise plan guarantees a response time within four hours.

Oasis LMS has four pricing tiers, which are:

  • Starter – The Starter pricing tier costs $3 per user, per month. It covers up to 250 learners and comes with 5 GB of storage, daily data backup and free implementation.
  • Standard – The Standard tier is priced at $800 a month for up to 1,000 learners. It includes unlimited storage and integration with other applications via a single sign-on.
  • Professional – The Professional tier costs $1,500 a month and covers 1,000 to 3,000 learners. One feature it offers is the integration of e-commerce sites.
  • Enterprise – The Enterprise tier covers an unlimited number of learners and offers integration via application program interface (API). Please contact Oasis LMS for a quote.

The Oasis LMS platform is mainly intended for educators, rather that companies looking to train their employees. Those companies can check out our other LMS reviews.

Also, the OasisMobile app is only available on the Enterprise pricing tier.
