Features

Business intelligence – With CBOS’ Insights, users can configure, customize and share dashboards and reports in real time so they can make smart decisions on the fly. The drag-and-drop interface empowers users to create what they need without having to rely on their IT staff.

Finance and accounting – CBOS helps users automate processes, reduce cycle times and speed up their financial close while improving visibility and transparency.  They’ll be on top of the ever-changing business conditions by defining financial and operational targets, monitoring costs, revenue and performance.  Some of the features include general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, dimensional accounting, and invoicing and recurring billing.

Inventory management – Integrated inventory management provides an efficient way to manage stocking levels, provide built-in workflow to notify for replenishment and ensure timely vendor purchases for best pricing. Some of the features include inventory tracking, locations, pricing, costing and order management.

Warehouse management – CBOS’ warehouse management is designed to help automate and optimize all warehouse functions related to stocks’ inbound and outbound movements as well as organize the flow of order fulfillment and dispatching on a day-to-day basis. Some features include workflows, receivings, kitting, serial/lot tracking, barcode scanning, transfers, staging and packing, bin/rack/aisle management and stock safety levels.

CRM – CBOS Cloud ERP delivers robust functionally to track customer sales orders and seamlessly provides data to efficiently and accurately create invoices.  This offering provides real-time information about customer order and invoicing activities to aid the sales team and the accounting and finance processes within the organization. Features include sales process, prospect management, client management, pipeline management and forecasting.

Payroll and HR – With ever changing human resources and payroll laws, companies need an HRIS system that is up to date and compliant with all federal, state and local rules and regulations.  Features include payroll processing and tax compliance, timekeeping system, human resources and administrative services.

eCommerce integration – Out-of-the-box, CBOS’ eCommerce Standard Integration (“eCSI”) supports Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify, Volusion and WooCommerce.  All integrations through eCSI will create updates via scheduled jobs. eCSI has the capacity to expand its capabilities above and beyond those already available out-of-the-box.

Field service – Often deployed for installation, maintenance, and repair, among other tasks, field employees need to be informed and connected to offer superior service. CBOS helps businesses provide better service at lower costs by automating scheduling, dispatch, management and execution of work that occurs in the field. Their simple, made-for-mobile, software syncs back to the back-office, helping users get more done each day and improving visibility into the entire process.

Features include scheduling and dispatching, mobile app, work order management, customer portal, assets management and barcoding.

Light manufacturing – CBOS’ light production features are great for companies with requirements such as kitting and assembly to convert raw materials into finished goods. Some features include assembly and dis-assembly, production flows, materials control and production kitting.

Shortcomings

CBOS currently offers light manufacturing functionality, however, it plans to expand those features in a future upgrade.

Also, on-premise deployment is not available and the company doesn’t plan to offer it.
