The payroll module is a full-service payroll tool that can fully integrate with HR and benefits data. This not only saves time when entering and updating critical information, it also reduces paperwork errors on important forms for taxes, time sheets and more.


Namely’s payroll tools can simplify a company’s paydays with the following four elements:

1.) Full-Service Payroll System

The full-service system connects to a HR solution, making it easy to enroll new employees by pulling information collected during onboarding.

Since employee profiles are automatically synced with payroll, updating employee statuses is simple to do with just a few clicks. The software also automatically calculates payroll deductions and employer payroll taxes by syncing information with the benefits tools.

2.) Tax Filing & Compliance

To keep the company in full compliance, Namely automatically calculates and deposits local, state and federal taxes. For more peace of mind, Namely also generates and sends key tax documents like W-2s and 1099s, as well as summarizes year-end payroll and tax information.

Additionally, the software provides paycheck modeling, which shows payroll deductions in a clear format for employees to understand how the deductions affect paychecks.

3.) Payroll Reporting

The payroll reporting tools easily give the HR department a 360° view of critical data related to their employees and their impact on company costs, including hours worked, payroll deductions, employee turnover and more.

4.) Time Management

Namely’s time and attendance system allows users to electronically handle time sheets, as well as all the tasks related to tracking labor hours and managing labor costs. The system is fully integrated with the payroll module to easily audit, manage and report on all labor data, giving users a full overview of their workforce.
