Product Overview

The new Ricoh SP 4520DN joins its multifunction sibling, the MP 401SPF, in the lineup that handles only up to legal-sized paper. It is aimed at the midsize workgroup that does not need ledger-sized (11″ x 17″) handling.

At $1,025, the SP 4520DN prints at 42ppm. There is a 533MHz processor, 512MB of memory (that is upgradeable to 1GB), and an optional 320GB hard drive. Warm up time is 17 seconds and the first-page-out time is 5 seconds. The maximum duty cycle is approximately 150,000 pages per month, although the recommended volume is 10,000 pages.

There is also the tiltable 4.3″ touchscreen control panel where users can create shortcuts for commonly-used features. Users can optionally add the web browser to access the web directly from the control panel.

More details are found in our Features section below.
