Product Overview
The new imageRUNNER 1643P printer joins the imageRUNNER 1643i Series in Canon’s black-and-white printer/MFP lineup. It prints at up to 45 ppm and includes the Canon Custom Processor, 1 GB of memory (not expandable), and a five-line LCD panel.
First-print-out time is 5.7 seconds. The 1643P supports Canon’s proprietary printing language, PCL and PostScript. USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi are standard. Users can directly print JPEG, PDF, and TIFF files. Mobile printing is supported via the Canon PRINT Business app.

Features
The imageRUNNER 1643P includes a 550-sheet paper tray and a 100-sheet bypass. Canon offers an optional 550-sheet paper feeder (that consists of up to three trays), adding to a maximum paper capacity of 2,300 sheets. All paper trays accept up to 8.5″ x 14″ paper.
The output capacity is 150 sheets.
Additional printing features are profile settings, suspend job timeout, header/footer, page layout, collating, booklet printing, toner reduction and poster printing. Duplex printing is also supported.
Security features include department ID authentication, secure print, IP/MAC address filtering, and Wi-Fi authentication.
