Product Overview
Icertis Contract Management (ICM) is a leading enterprise contract management platform powered by adaptable artificial intelligence (AI). This solution is trusted by companies in over 90 countries, servicing around 7.5 million contracts.
This cloud-based software allows users to quickly turn static contracts into strategic assets for their business. ICM helps companies leverage all angles of a contract’s lifecycle, increasing revenue, reducing costs, minimizing risks and accelerating cash flow.
The solution has the typical features of contract management solutions: execution, boilerplate, administration and authoring. In addition, ICM has compliance and risk management features, as well as analytics and reporting capabilities.
Icertis Contract Management is geared toward global businesses across all industries that need to standardize their contract management processes.
ICM integrates well with many popular applications, including DocuSign and Adobe Sign.
Features
Icertis offers many features, such as:
- Compliance tracking – ICM’s AI, like other contract management solutions, helps businesses track changes in the law to maintain compliance. However, Icertis takes it a step further by integrating with Thomson Reuters to screen for compliance and risk, freeing up time for users and reducing the need for constant monitoring.
- Electronic signatures – This built-in e-signature feature allows companies to send contracts globally for needed signatures.
- Contract management – A centralized storage location for all contracts is essential, and this is the mainstay of most contract management solutions. ICM’s contract management feature ensures contracts are all in one spot and easy to find when a contract needs to be referenced, modified or amended.
- Specialty contracts – Icertis is highly configurable and easy to tailor, so businesses with very specific and niche contracts won’t be left out when using this solution.

Icertis Contract Management is made for global businesses across a wide array of industries.
Some of ICM’s clients include:
- Daimler
- Microsoft

Shortcomings
Icertis is a solution that’s designed primarily for large and enterprise companies. While there’s a demo of the product offered, there are no options for a free trial, so businesses might find it hard to try out the solution before making a final decision.
As far as usability, the software can be clunky at times. Configuring and completing tasks may take more time than necessary, and it may be difficult to make changes after the fact.
For example, if a mistake’s found after a contract is “executed,” users may be unable to go back and update the contract themselves. They may need to seek help from customer support.
