BIME Analytics At A Glance
Product Overview
NOTE: BIME Analytics has been acquired by Zendesk and is no longer available. In early 2019, Zendesk debuted its customer analytics solution, Zendesk Explore.
BIME empowers customers to connect to all of their data, via dozens of sources, all in the same place. Queries can be created and executed easily, and dashboards are created using BIME’s state of the art interface function.
Some of the data sources BIME can connect with are listed here:
- Redshift
- Hana
- Query
- Vertica
- Vectorwise
- Omniture
- Google Analytics
- Salesforce
- SQL Server
- MySQL
- Oracle
Some key functionalities of BIME include its advanced visualizations which work with relational analysis, bullet charts, funnels, and hundreds of customization points.
Dashboards are highly interactive, and can be built in just a matter of clicks. Sharing is easy, and users viewing it can drill down through layers of data.
Big data is addressed through Google BigQuery compatibility. Other functions also supported (as noted above) include Vectorwise, Vertica, and Redshift.
BIME stays connected to the social pulse with integration to Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Youtube analytics, and Twitter analytics.
Time sliding windows can also be created within data without any code-writing. Data from a month or a year ago can easily be accessed and compared with more recent numbers.
Map visualizations are on the cutting edge at BIME. Geocoding is automated, so users don’t need to worry about inserting every last number. The platform is backed by Premium Maps, which allows street level visualizations for an even more comprehensive user experience.
At the heart of the software, BIME relies on a parallel column-store in-memory processor, which speeds and improves basic data sources, and knows itself when the data source needs to be delegated to.
There is also an on-demand data warehouse that provides speedy access to ETL functions within a cloud database. By short circuiting the need for a data silo, BIME is providing effective agile business intelligence.
