Product Overview
The MP 402SPF joins the MP 501SPF and MP 601SPF as new offerings in Ricoh’s black-and-white MFP lineup. At $3,325, it offers standard printing, copying, scanning and optional faxing. The MP 402SPF has a speed of 42ppm and a first-print-time of 3.9 seconds.
There is a 1.46GHz processor, 2GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive. There is also a 10.1″ touchscreen Smart Operation Panel for access to workflows and information. Users can access information with the same flick-swipe functionality commonly used on smartphones. They can also customize the user interface with one-touch workflows for common tasks, such as printing, scanning or accessing the document server.
PCL, PostScript and direct PDF printing languages are standard. Users can add XPS printing format as an option. USB and Ethernet connectivity is supported, while wireless and parallel are optional. Mobile printing is supported via Ricoh’s Smart Device Connector app.
More details are in our Features section below.
The MP 402SPF can be a good choice for medium-sized companies that are looking for a compact MFP that doesn’t require color output.
