Ecomdash At A Glance

Good: Ecomdash allows users to manage all their online sales channels from one dashboard and integrates with many platforms such as eBay, Amazon and Etsy.
Bad: With a starting price of $60 per month, Ecomdash could price out some small businesses.
Bottom Line: Ecomdash integrates with many platforms for sales. It's a great tool for small to mid-size businesses, and the pricing is a value, considering each customer receives a free Pitney Bowes account.

Product Overview

Ecomdash is an inventory management system that allows users to manage all their online sales channels from one dashboard. The system also includes standard inventory management features with order management and shipping management capabilities. It’s best suited for small to mid-sized online retailers selling across multiple channels.

The solution integrates with an extensive list of platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Bonanza, Walmart, Google Shopping Actions, FBA, Jet.com, Rakuten, Newegg.com, GunBroker.com, Shopify, 3dcart, Zencart, Bigcommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, Sears, Endicia, Stamps.com, FedEx, UPS, DHW Express, Aftership, Vend, CrazyLister, ShipStation, SPS Commerce, eBridge Connections and QuickBooks Online.

Ecomdash’s all-in-one inventory management lets customers synchronize stock levels across different warehouses in near-real-time. Features such as product SKU mapping allow users to track products with different identifiers, while the track manufactured items feature allows users to define manufactured and handmade items, and which materials are used to create them. Customers of Ecomdash will be sure they know exactly where their inventory stands at all times.

This solution is cloud-based and will work with nearly any operating system and on any browser. Ecomdash also has a mobile app so businesses can operate on the go. With a 15-day free trial, users can get a good handle on whether this is the right inventory management solution for their business.

Features

Ecomdash is designed to be your all-in-one spot for inventory and shipping needs, so it boasts a lot of features. A few notable ones include:

Product SKU mapping – This feature allows users to track products with different identifiers with Ecomdash’s unique inventory mapping system.

Track manufactured items – This is a handy feature for users who sell custom and manufactured items. It allows users to define manufactured and handmade items and which materials are used to create them to keep stock of all supplies at once.

Manage inventory across multiple warehouses – While a lot of smaller businesses may not have more than one designated warehouse, Ecomdash has a feature that allows users to track items in any and all of their warehouses at ones, in real-time. This is great for users who sell multiple types of items and have more than one warehouse location.

Bundles & multipacks – Online sellers know that a more complicated-to-track sale is the multipack or bundle. Ecomdash makes the process easier by allowing users to track individual components along with the bundled items (similar to the way its track manufactured items feature works) while making bundles and multipacks automatically unavailable if a component has sold out.

Target Market

Ecomdash is best suited for small to mid-sized online retailers selling across multiple channels.

The robust list of platforms with which the solution will integrate makes it ideal for use across many different e-commerce industries.

Here’s a list of some of Ecomdash’s customers:

  • The Map Shop
  • Art Cove
  • Big Daddy Guns
  • Radar Toys
  • Mountaintop Leather
  • Hardware Box
  • Talaria Enterprises
  • Ezee-source

Implementation/Integration

Ecomdash is cloud-based and will work with nearly any operating system and on any browser. It also has a mobile app so businesses can operate on the go.

The solution won recognition from G2 for Fastest Implementation in fall 2020.

Customer Service & Support

Ecomdash offers unlimited support via phone, email or live chat. New users can take advantage of its Onboarding Support to walk them through the process of getting everything set up.

However, if that’s not enough training for your needs, there are other tiers of service packages available for a fee:

  • Advanced Onboarding Package: $199
  • Basic Dropshipping Package: $149
  • Advanced Dropshipping Package: $349
  • Dedicated Training: $100 for one hour or $250 for three hours

Pricing

Pricing for Ecomdash is based upon how many orders are processed each month. The cost starts at $60 per month for fewer than 100 orders per month and goes up from there.

The Ecomdash pricing structure is as follows:

  • 0-100 orders: $60 per month or $576 yearly
  • 101-500 orders: $90 per month or $864 yearly
  • 501-1,000 orders: $135 per month or $1,296 yearly
  • 1,001-3,000 orders: $190 per month or $1,824 yearly
  • 3,001-6,000 orders: $250 per month or $2,400 yearly
  • 6,001-10,000 orders: $350 per month or $3,360 yearly

In addition, each Ecomdash customer receives a free Pitney Bowes account with their subscription.

Customers who have over 10,000 orders per month should contact Ecomdash for enterprise-level pricing.

Shortcomings

With a starting price of $60 per month, Ecomdash could price out some small businesses.

This solution also offers lots of features – some of which may be too complex for smaller businesses, but not enough for businesses teetering on the mid- to large-size side.

Another feature shortfall is the system’s inability to print barcodes. This could be a major issue for those who rely on barcodes for their sales and warehousing.
