Product Overview

Rent Manager is an all-in-one property management solution that’s available both on-premise and in the cloud.

Users can track their finances, screen new tenants, track work orders and more. Tenants can also use Rent Manager to make rent payments and request maintenance.

Rent Manager includes several benefits, such as:

As mentioned, Rent Manager is available in both cloud (Rent Manager Online) and on-premise (Rent Manager Standalone) versions. The Standalone option is broken down into two versions of its own: per-unit and unlimited.

Both the Online and Standalone options include many core features such as work orders, accounting, lease management, customer relationship management (CRM) and reports. However, the Online version includes a web portal, mobile access, report automation, application program interface (API), integration with Zillow and Trulia, and data protection.

For companies that manage commercial properties, there’s a Commercial module. Users can manage their single or recurring expenses associated with commercial properties, as well as run reports.

Companies also have the option of purchasing hardware such as a check scanner and credit card reader for accepting payments and a handheld meter reader for reading gas, water and electric meters.

Users can also track their utility usage with the Metered Utilities module. For additional options, customers can upgrade to Metered Utilities Plus, which has more advanced features such as special utility calculations.

Clients work with a Implementation Consultant on a project plan that’s tailored to their needs. Data migration, training and any custom integrations are included in the implementation process.

Rent Manager offers clients online training such as webinars, a virtual classroom and training videos. Training isn’t offered to just new clients, but also existing ones that need a refresher. Additionally, clients have the option for a customized training program that’s available at their site, online or at Rent Manager’s headquarters.

Other professional services include a customized website, custom reports, custom documents, data cleanup, custom tabs, Metered Utilities Plus and Bird’s Eye View (a customized map of client’s properties).

Customer Service & Support

Rent Manager offers its Knowledge Base and other self-help resources for users to find answers for troubleshooting and to other questions. Users can also contact support via phone or email Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., EST. In addition, they can submit a service request via the software.

If needed, users can take advantage of Rent Manager’s remote assistance tool.

Rent Manager also offers an optional Premium Support plan that’s customized to a client’s unique needs. Clients get a dedicated support representative and the person’s direct phone number.

Finally, clients can attend the annual Rent Manager User Conference, a three-day event where they can learn more about Rent Manager and specific industry trends, and connect with other property management professionals.
