LiquidPlanner At A Glance
Product Overview
LiquidPlanner is a easy-to-use project management solution made with the workflow of technology teams in mind.
The dynamic features reflect the vendor’s belief that “teams work best when they organize by priority, make best-case/worst-case estimates and collaborate in a central location.”
With robust functions like resource leveling and predictive scheduling, the simple, single-view interface makes it easy to keep your eye on the big picture for company projects.
LiquidPlanner has introduced a new Planning Intelligence solution that answers “When will the project be done?” with project automation tools that adapts to real-time changes within a project. It features include automatic scheduling, smart projects, smart estimation, smart prioritization, smart time tracking and intelligent insights.
Features
LiquidPlanner’s scalable features fall under four main categories:
1.) Predictive Scheduling
LiquidPlanner uses a predictive algorithm with priority-based scheduling and resource leveling to automatically estimate deadlines and resource availability as the system is updated. Tools like ranged estimates allow each team member to see when a task will be completed based on multiple factors, such as best-case and worst-case scenarios. LiquidPlanner uses this information to generate a Gantt chart for everyone to stay on task.
2.) Task Management
The Task Management tools easily organize and store projects, tasks, schedules and documents in a central location, giving project team members easy access to critical information. Team members can stay up to date and voice their opinions/ideas with commenting and collaboration features integrated into the software. Simple dashboards give users full visibility of company projects and workloads so you can easily pinpoint what’s working and what needs changing.
3.) Time Tracking
LiquidPlanner makes time tracking second nature with dynamic tools like timers and automatic prompts to track and log time spent on a task. This module also contains a tab called Timesheet that allows users to look back on completed tasks and review upcoming work at a glance.
4.) Gantt Charts
Instead of entering estimates and revisions manually, LiquidPlanner automatically recalculates deadlines and estimated completion dates with every update put into the system, whether it deals with a schedule change, hours logged or task completion. Each schedule bar has an “E” on the expected finish date to show when the project will most likely be completed, keeping the team on the same page.
