Product Overview

FunctionFox is a simple timesheet and project management tool intended for creative teams. The solution replaces time sheets with a built-in time clock function and a stopwatch, among other methods of tracking, structuring and reporting on projects.

FunctionFox has four different modules depending on the users requirements.


Here, we’ve highlighted three key features of FunctionFox:

Task and Expense Tracking: A time sheet and stopwatch are built into the solution to assist with employee scheduling. They also allow workers to track the time put into each task. Tasks can be edited to adjust payment rates for employees’ work.

Timelines and Milestones: Users can access personal calendars and a group calendar to keep up with approaching deadlines. Actions can be assigned through an Action Calendar to improve resource allocation as well. Periodic to-do list email alerts notify teams about what’s happening.

Reporting: High-level reports are broken down by clients, projects and the status of ongoing priorities. Other report functions track specific tasks, personnel, productivity, estimates, expenses, rankings and user groups. Companies can also create reports that track custom criteria.

There’s no on-premise option, so customers don’t need to purchase any hardware to host data. Each customer is assigned an account representative to oversee any issues that may arise.

In addition, all updates to FunctionFox are included with the package purchase.

Clients receive unlimited and ongoing free customer support with the software purchase.


FunctionFox is available in three options:

  • Classic, for basic timesheet and project tracking, $5/user/month ($35/month for first user)
  • Premier, for advanced project management, $10/user/month ($50/month for first user)
  • In-House, for in-house creative teams, $20/user/month ($150/month for first user)


File sharing doesn’t come with most FunctionFox packages, but it’s available as a $10 add-on instead. Flink is an integration that allows users to send and receive documents and links to online files.

Flink is included with the FunctionFox In-House package. Other customers can purchase Flink for an extra $10 a month, which includes 10 GB of data storage.
