Product Overview

The new Phaser 3330 Printer, along with the WorkCentre 3335/3345 MFP, is Xerox’s latest entry in its black-and-white lineup. At $299, it prints at 42ppm. The Phaser 3330 starts with a 1GHz processor and 512MB of memory that’s not expandable. It has a fast first-print-out time at 6.5 seconds. Xerox rates its duty cycle at 80,000 pages per month.

More details on this printer is in our Features section below.

The Phaser 3330 Printer is ideal for small departments and offices that don’t have a need for color printing or printing large volumes of paper. Not only is it affordable for small businesses, but those businesses can save money in the long run with three options for aftermarket print cartridges that contribute to low operating costs.

Features

The Phaser 3330 Printer supports PCL, PostScript and direct PDF printing languages. USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi are all standard connectivity features. Mobile printing is also supported by way of Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria and Xerox Print Service Plug in for Android devices. Also, users with Android-based devices can print from their phones or tablets with the optional Near Field Communication (NFC) kit.

Paper handling starts with a 250-sheet tray and a 150-sheet bypass that both accepts up to 8.5″ x 14″ paper. There is an optional 550-sheet tray for a maximum capacity of 850 sheets. Output consists of a 150-sheet tray. There’s no finishing options. Automatic duplexing is supported.

Xerox offers a choice of three aftermarket print cartridges: a standard capacity (2,600-page yield), a high-capacity (8,500 pages) and an extra-high-capacity (15,000 pages). Based on the figures for the extra-high-capacity cartridge, we’ve calculated the cost per page at approximately 2 cents. That’s an affordable operating cost for a smaller office.

The Phaser 3330 includes security features, such as IPsec, IP Filtering, secure print and wireless security (WPA and WEP codes).
