Product Overview

The new Ricoh MP 401SPF joins its color cousin, the MP C401, in the lineup that prints and copies only up to legal-sized paper. It is aimed at the midsize workgroup that does not need ledger-sized (11″ x 17″) handling. There is also its single-function printer sibling, the SP 4520DN.

At $3,310, the MP 401SPF includes standard printing, copying, scanning, and faxing. It also includes 1GB memory, not upgradeable, and an optional 250GB hard drive.

There is also the tiltable touchscreen control panel where users can create shortcuts for commonly-used features. There is also optional access to cloud-based document management and printing services. Such cloud-based services include Evernote and Google Drive.

More details are found in our Features section below.

The MP 401SPF is a compact device with good features for offices that want multifunctionality but does not require color or ledger-sized handling.
