The new ECOSYS P3060dn Series represents an upgrade of Kyocera’s high-volume single-function printers. This series replace the older FS-4300DN Series. The newer series include a higher processor and standard memory, as well as optional wireless connectivity.
There are four printers in this series:

- The ECOSYS P3050dn ($1,469) that prints at up to 52ppm and has a 250,000-page monthly duty cycle
- The ECOSYS P3055dn ($1,629) that prints at up to 57ppm and has a 275,000-page monthly duty cycle, and
- The ECOSYS P3060dn ($2,439) that prints at up to 62ppm and has a 300,000-page monthly duty cycle
All printers include a 1,200MHz processor and 512MB of memory (that can optionally expands to 2.5GB). There are two optional hard disk drives, one is 32GB and the other is 128GB.
Warm up times range from 15 seconds to 25 seconds and first-page-out times range from 4.9 seconds to 5.9 seconds.
PCL and PostScript are standard as well as XPS and PDF direct print. The devices also support USB, Ethernet and mobile printing as standard features. Users can print from their mobile devices via Mopria print service, Google Cloud Print or Kyocera’s dedicated mobile print app.
Parallel and Wi-Fi connectivity are optional.
All devices utilize Kyocera’s PRESCRIBE and COMMAND CENTER RX business applications. With the PRESCRIBE app, users can create, store and print commonly-used forms from the printer. The COMMAND CENTER RX app allows users and administrators to look up paper availability, toner status and other statuses of the device via a web browser.
