Bottom Line: Email marketing solution with easy-to-use features to help marketers successfully create, execute and measure their campaigns.

Product Overview

Moosend is an email marketing platform that automates repetitive tasks so marketers can focus on building client relationships. It has an intuitive interface for designing emails and measuring campaigns without coding or web design experience needed.

Additional benefits of Moosend include:

  • Flexible pricing plans with no hidden costs
  • Variety of support services offered, such as email, phone, live chat and self-help knowledge base
  • Integration to e-commerce, customer relationship management (CRM), lead generation and other marketing applications

Features

There’s a drag-and-drop campaign editor to easily add text, images, social share buttons and other elements to the email newsletter. Marketers can either create their own designs or access Moosend’s library of newsletter templates, then preview what the design will look like in both desktop and mobile interfaces. When newsletters are ready, marketers can enter test email addresses and schedule their email campaigns to send on a specific date and time.

Other key features of Moosend are:

Marketing automation tools – With these tools, marketers can specify which events trigger email sends or other actions. For example, if a prospect adds a product to their shopping cart but hasn’t checked out, an email can be sent to remind them they need to make a purchase. Moosend has three automation components: triggers (events that prompt the actions), conditional/control steps (filters for each trigger) and actions (tasks that responds to triggers).

Moosend offers prebuilt automation templates called Recipes so marketers won’t need to specify triggers and actions. The templates are available in different categories, such as new customer, loyalty or upsell.

Email segmentation – Marketers are able to build email lists with the custom opt-in forms that can be added to their site or social networks for capturing visitor data. Each field can be customized and collects data such as gender, age or favorite brands. Then, the data can be used for segment filters.

Existing email lists can be imported from different sources (e.g., CSV files or Gmail contacts). Marketers can also remove subscribers in bulk.

Analytics – Moosend includes analytics features that help marketers measure their campaigns. The link analytics feature allows marketers to see which links their subscribers click on, while the email client and device metrics provide insights on which email applications and devices subscribers are using.

Marketers can also measure the day, time and geographical location of the email opens. Reports can be exported to Excel and other formats.
