Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) – Fiix has a full CMMS/EAM Platform available for OEMs, White Label Partners, and Solution Providers to distribute their own integrated CMMS/EAM built on the Fiix platform.

The MRO Marketplace lets users automatically populate their equipment or parts database by using related information directly from leading MRO parts databases. When creating a new part, search to locate the part in the MRO database, then simply click copy to CMMS and their parts record is automatically populated with the parts data. MA Source can also quickly search for and buy supplies and spare parts from the world’s leading MRO parts distributors, all directly inside the CMMS.

Fiix Foresight – This feature uses an AI-powered engine to provide insights into the user’s maintenance data. It can pull data from the CMMS and stores it into a data warehouse, and it then organizes it before machine learning analysis. Once an analysis is performed, Fiix Foresight sends recommendations or detected anomalies to the user via email.

Fiix Asset Risk Predictor – A new product, Fiix Asset Risk Predictor, uses AI and sensor data to monitor the asset or equipment and then gives an early warning of failure to the user. It comes with custom alert risk threshold, daily predicted risk metrics and hourly sensor readings.

Implementation/Integration

Fiix offers three implementation plans: Fiix 101 (for quick deployment), Kickstarter (enhanced support and configuration) and Custom (tailored implementation methodology).

Onsite implementation can vary from a few hours using Fiix’s web-based services to a number of weeks at the client’s site. The engagement may encompass a broad range of activities from training to implementation: defining CMMS project goals, analyzing client’s current operational state, reviewing existing data and making recommendations on effective data gathering and asset hierarchy structures, developing implementation project and timeline, user training and initial system configuration and data entry.

Customer Service & Support

Customers can contact tech support via phone or by creating a support ticket request online, and access a knowledge base of troubleshooting questions, answers, and support videos.

Customers can also suggest a new feature of the system via the Features Request forum. Fiix also provides a free weekly online training webinar.

Pricing

Fiix is sold as a subscription and billed either on a monthly or yearly basis. There are three pricing tiers based on storage and the availability of features:

  • Basic – This tier (priced at $45 per user, per month) includes standard CMMS features (e.g., work orders, asset management, inventory management, preventative maintenance, purchasing, and internal/external notifications).
  • Professional – The Professional tier ($75 per user, per month) includes many advanced CMMS features, such as Fiix Foresight, advanced notifications, nested preventative maintenance scheduling, multi-asset work orders, inventory cycle count, purchasing and RFQs, multi-site support, rotating assets, language translation, a custom report builder and the ability to easily brand the CMMS with the customer’s logo.
  • Enterprise– The Enterprise tier allows companies to integrate their CMMS with other enterprise software systems like an ERP or financial reporting system, with pre-built connectors. Additional features include eSignature, failure codes, condition-based maintenance triggers, an audit log, configurable interface, database export, configurable firewall and single sign-on. Fiix offers custom pricing, so please contact them directly for a quote.
  • Users can also use the Free Tier where they can track their assets, plan preventative maintenance, and create/edit work orders for free. They can also combine it with the free mobile app.

The Fiix Asset Risk Predictor solution costs $12,000 per year for up to five assets (if more than five assets, they can be added for a fee) and requires an edge-to-cloud system for connecting sensors (companies can purchase the system for $3,000 per plant, per year if they prefer not to use their own). Implementation of the Asset Risk Predictor costs a one-time fee of $2,000 and can be done within two weeks.

Shortcomings

Fiix provided an on-premise solution in its early years, but has since been phased out. It also no longer supports multiple languages.
