Features
Yellowfin Signals – Yellowfin Signals applies machine-assisted automation to monitor live data continuously in the background. It looks beyond the dashboard, searching for anomalies and data outliers that indicate something is different. Its alerts are automated and delivered as changes happen. Yellowfin Signals keep business leaders informed and provide an early-warning system for analysts, helping them to deliver insights to the business, much faster.
Yellowfin Data Storytelling – Yellowfin Data Storytelling enable users to create compelling long-form analysis that provide context to the numbers. Within a blog-like format, users can add live or static reports, embed external media (such as images or videos), and write their narrative to explain the story within the data – and a create common and consistent understanding across the organization. It is also the first-ever cross-vendor storytelling product that lets you easily embed reports from multiple dashboard vendors, such as Tableau and Qlik, to create fully formed stories. With Yellowfin Data Storytelling, businesses can create common and consistent understanding across the organization.
Yellowfin Data Prep – Users can connect to a range of data sources, such as relational databases, Hadoop, NoSQL, spreadsheets and Web APIs. Data is merged and transformed so it’s accessible by any analytics tool.
Yellowfin Data Discovery – In Yellowfin Data Discovery, users can analyze data using spreadsheets, database or web applications. The Assisted Insights feature uses machine-learning algorithms for automatic answers faster, which saves users the headache of manually combing through the data. Insights can then be published and shared with Dashboards, Stories and Storyboards.
Yellowfin Dashboards – With Yellowfin Dashboards, users can track key performance indicators (KPIs) in real time. It also includes the Assisted Insights feature for finding faster answers.

Customer Service & Support
Yellowfin offers training on its platform through Yellowfin University. There are also onsite or instructor-led online courses which covers three levels of training over three individual days: Yellowfin Content Creator Fundamentals (Level I), Yellowfin Content Creator Advanced (Level II) and Yellowfin Administration + Signals (Level III).
Yellowfin offers various support mechanisms, such as an online wiki, a customer support center and community that includes access to a documentation section as well as an online forum. Users can also contact Yellowfin directly for help.

Yellowfin’s suite of products are bundled into specific packages that’s based on per user or per server.
Per User:
- Data prep (standalone data prep): $120 (minimum of 12,000 users)
- Analytics (Dashboards, Data Analysis, Data Prep and Stories products): $600 (minimum of 12,000 users)
- Analytics Plus (Analytics package plus Signals): $900 (minimum of 18,000 users)
- Stories (standalone Stories with third-party data access; package includes Data Analysis and Data Prep): ($12,000 per 100 users; includes third-party Stories add-ons)
Per Server Core (minimum of four):
- Analytics: $75,000 (if two server cores, price is at $37,500)
- Analytics Plus: $111,000 (includes one additional Signals dedicated node)
- Signals (includes Data Analysis, Stories and metadata): $75,000
- Stories: $48,000 (maximum of 500 users for four core servers)
