Crelate At A Glance

Good: Four scalable pricing packages, customized job dashboard and activity stream to track candidates, extensive search functionality.
Bad: Additional automation workflows and integrations are in the pipeline.
Bottom Line: Flexible recruiting solution designed to help recruiters maintain relationships with clients and candidates.

Product Overview

Crelate Omni is a full product suite that includes Crelate Recruit, Crelate Hire and Crelate Deliver (a back office solution) for an end-to-end platform for recruiting agencies. This review focuses on Crelate Recruit and Crelate Hire.

Crelate Recruit is an applicant tracking solution designed to help all professional recruiters with sourcing and hiring prospective candidates. It’s considered a “talent relationship management” solution (similar to PC Recruiter) because it helps recruiters build relationships with their clients and contacts (internal and external), as well as potential candidates.

Crelate Recruit has other benefits, including:

  • The ability to keep track of relationships with notes, activities, tasks and alerts
  • The ability to find candidates in an efficient manner, as well as their resumes/applications
  • Customizable to fit the specific needs of the business
  • Easy access for recruiters anytime, anywhere from their iPads, iPhones and Android devices
  • Cloud-based on a Microsoft Azure server so companies don’t need to worry about purchasing and maintaining software and hardware

Crelate Hire is a hiring and onboarding solution. Recruiters can manage the onboarding process with features, such as checklists, assignment insights, standardize templates, integration with HelloSign for eSignature functionality and integration with Checkr for background checks. It also has features to help agencies stay in new hire compliance, such as credentials management and identity verification.

Features

Crelate Recruit has some unique features, such as:

Visual dashboard: Recruiters can visualize the status of candidates on a dashboard where they can drag and drop a tile icon with each candidate’s name in categories for a specific status (e.g. Prospect, Interviewing). They can customize their dashboards to fit their hiring workflows.

Activity stream: The activity stream helps recruiters track the status of each job posting or correspondence from each candidate. Recruiters can schedule tasks or record notes on conversations with a candidate. They can customize any existing types of activity or add their own.

Extensive search functionality: Recruiters can find potential candidates in an efficient manner. Crelate Recruit includes full-text and relational search features, including tag search and Boolean queries. Search criteria can be saved to be used again in the future.

Branded company portal: Crelate gives businesses the opportunity to have their own company portals for recruiting candidates. Using the portal, candidates can see job postings, submit resumes and fill out applications. Companies can have their portal designed with their logo/brand and other customization. The company portal is also accessible on mobile devices.

Email integration: Crelate integrates with most email programs, such as Microsoft Outlook or Gmail, so recruiters can email candidates and parse emailed resumes within the platform.

Additional features include:

  • Email campaigns – This feature allows recruiters to send email blasts to applicants or employers. Recruiters can configure the email so that it can be sent from any domain, send more than 100 emails at a time and measure the opens, clicks and other metrics of the campaign.
  • Integration to RingCentral for VoIP, text messaging and conference calls
  • Integration to Zapier for automating repetitive tasks
  • eSignature functionality
  • Forms request feature that lets recruiters create forms for their clients/candidates to fill out
  • Job Portal Embeddable Widget
  • The ability to send texts to candidates
